Third time is a charm : Leaving McBain
Third time is a charm.
Yep thats right I will no longer be a McBain camera employee come the end of the month. It ends a long run of playing part time Camera Geek at McBain. I have met and worked with some of the best people in this city. I take this time to thank all the staff at WEM McBain for prolonging my time at McBain by making it a wicked place to work. After Sept if you want new gear or if Olympus doesn’t put up and you just want to go Nikon/Ca [I can't even say it] talk to Ian Sheh or Nicole M. They both rock and would be happy to help you out.
Whats next?
Check back in two weeks. I’ll keep you posted.
So no more photography?
Couldn’t be more from the truth. More on that in two weeks, but by no stretch of the imagination does this mean that things are going to slow down. Just time to change focus and face the economic reality. This refocus allows me to catch up on some ideas and do what I love to do. There is wack of emerging tech and it’s not showing signs of slowing down. Ideas are over taking distribution and presentation of traditional media. It’s going to be a big shift in the next five years and I want to make sure I am part of that wave.
Thanks to my customers for all the support and if you have any questions you can still reach me at j[@]jonathanpuckrin.com
Some random shots from McBain over the years. I’ll post more later. [Photo info : Nathan H is largly responsable for my starting at McBain, Jan cleaning the store.
